On Friday, I came to school early to pick up something left in the CS LT. The doors though, were sealed by some huge invisible force that would not open even after I said "Open sesame" and "Ali Baba".
It was weirder still because the door on the left entrance was slightly ajar, meaning that it wasn't completely closed, but I still couldn't open it. I pulled, and I pulled again, I even put my leg on the door and pulled, but it was stuck fast. I looked into the LT. There was one girl sitting in the middle alone. I shook the door pretty hard to try and get her attention, since I'm pretty sure the door can be opened from the inside. She totally ignored me. The guys on the bench outside the LT didn't though. They looked at me like I was crazy.
About that girl, I think I saw a ghost. A hearing impaired one.
But anyway, because the door remained steadfastly shut, I had to take the lift upstairs to level 2 to the information counter. Its that counter opposite the sandwich machine. Once I reached there, I requested for the keycard to open the LT. I think the person probably knows my face by now because I'm the only idiot who borrows that white plastic card to retrieve stuff from the LT.
So after filling in my particulars, I had to take the lift down again to try and open the LT. There was some year 2 girl who was trying to enter the LT. I think she had lecture. Of course, the doors were sealed shut. Upon seeing me with the card, she obviously thought I was going to open the door. I took a closer look. Eh decent looking. Can earn some goodwill points.
So I held out the card and tapped it on the reader. The thing beeped and said "Error invalid user". FARK. Of all the times to fail, it had to fail when I needed it to score points.
I decided to try opening the doors anyway. Obviously they were still stuck fast. At this point I must have looked like a total retard. Like I didn't understand the meaning of "Error. Invalid user." Hurhur I guess I was the invalid one huh.
Chastised, I took the lift back upstairs for the 3rd time in 5 minutes. This time, the person told me there wasn't another card, but she would call someone to open the door. So I went back down to wait.
Upon reaching ground level, I started walking towards the LT doors. Then I saw this petite girl just walk up to the CS LT doors. I thought to myself "Hoho she's going to find them stuck fast."
SHE PULLED THEM OPEN.
What the FARK does she have the strength of ten thousand elephants or am I weaker than a girl, and a petite one at that? By the way this is not an invitation to answer the question.
Damn the CS LT doors.
